Who Are We?

Polish Linguists is a translation boutique comprising a team of industry-best translators and proofreaders specializing in Polish.

What Do We Translate?

As our members come from different walks of life, we provide standard and specialist translation and interpretation services in many areas of expertise, including technical, medical, and legal translation, website localization, and translation for business.

What Are Our Working Languages?

We primarily translate into Polish. With its declensions, conjugations, inflections, and complex structures, this language is our passion. Most of our projects cover translations from English and French.

What Tools Do We Use?

We use the latest computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools to streamline our translation process while ensuring optimally consistent terminology and providing clients with a tailor-made discount grid. We can easily handle both cloud and local solutions as provided by our clients (MemSource, XTM, in-house platforms etc.)

What Additional Services Do We Offer?

In addition to standard translation services, we also provide proofreading, TEP, transcription, and copywriting services into Polish.

Who Do We Work For?

We work for major global language service providers and corporate end clients who care about the quality and readability of the translation.

Head of English Projects

Karol Sijka

Company owner responsible for English speaking clients. Holds a double bachelor’s degree in English and Chinese, as well as a masters in Translation Studies. Specializes in IT, banking, marketing, and technical translations. He has been a lead translator and coordinator for several major brands, ranging from key players in IT, automotive and production technologies sector. Has translated over 20 fiction and non-fiction books into Polish. Karol likes to travel, read, and run long-distances. He loves pasta and his daughter Mailina:)

Head of French Projects

Dorota Spyrka

At Polish Linguists, Dorota is responsible for our French and Portuguese clients. Was awarded a master’s degree in French from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She also holds a bachelor degree in Chinese. Dorota translated a French classic "Le Petit Prince" and several bestselling novels. She coordinated many projects that involved thorough specialist knowledge and splendid writing skills. She loves chocolate and her daughter Malina:)
