A dedicated student of foreign languages, Karol is now completing his second BA in Chinese studies and is learning Italian. Specializes in life sciences, consumer electronics, legal, and technical translations. Has translated over 10 fiction and non-fiction books into Polish. Karol is an avid traveler, reader, and wannabe long-distance runner.
Magda is an English into Polish sworn translator. Graduated in English and Translation from Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities. She also learns Korean. Magda specializes in life sciences, legal, banking, and financial translations. She co-translated the specialist “Compendium of Banking Terms”, a publication used by professional bankers. In her free time, Magda practices inline skating and experiments with yoga.
Company good spirit! French, English, and Portuguese into Polish translator and interpreter. Awarded a master’s degree in French from the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She is currently studying Chinese part-time at Vistula University. A true polyglot, she speaks French, Portuguese, Italian, and English, to which she can now add her basic Chinese skills. Specializes in technical and business translations, mainly for the retail stores segment. Being an adventurous traveler, Dorota also translates guidebooks and explores unknown destinations.
Marta helps us with our French clients. She graduated from the French department at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow and studied English. After graduation, she quickly embarked on a career in a large financial corporation. An ambitious and talented linguist, she has now set her sights on translation. Marta specializes in financial and legal projects. In her free time, she hikes in the mountains or buries herself in a book.
Chieh [Dzie] translates from Polish and English into Chinese. She was born and raised in Taiwan. For no obvious reason, she moved to Poland and surprisingly quickly grasped our language. She is currently finishing Sociology Studies at the University of Łódź, runs Chinese classes, and translates into impeccable Chinese. Loves cooking and hanging around with people from all over the world.
Paulina, or Pola, as she prefers to be called, is a French translator born and raised in Sopot, Poland’s most famous seaside resort. Paradoxically, this may explain why she fell in love with the mountains and became a certified guide. Pola was awarded two master’s degrees – in French and Special Education. She also studied languages and pedagogics in France (Grenoble) and Romania (Sibiu). Pola specializes in education, tourism, business and technical translations. She is also curious and adventurous enough to engage in any new and exciting linguistic projects. When Pola is not translating, she must be probably walking somewhere in the mountains, looking for Yetis or lost children.
When Ela was a child, she dreamed of becoming a detective or a geographer, but over the years she has slightly modified her youthful dreams and decided that her destiny is to track down words instead of criminals. Ela loves maps, dictionaries, and new technologies. She got her masters degree in French and Italian from Marie Curie Skłodowska University in Lublin, she also studied in Brussels at Haute École de Traducteurs et Interprètes. Ela translates from French and Italian. Worked in London and Rome. She has worked in publishing industry for several years now. Ela specializes in tourism, life sciences and popular science. Her secondary fields of expertise include marketing, law, finances, and technical translations. Ela was a chairman of the Young Translator’s Club affiliated with the Association of Polish Translators and Interpreters. In her free time, Ela reads and cooks.
